Fall Retreat

Dear Sisters in Christ,

We are excited to invite you to the Greater Kansas City Disciples Women’s Ministry Fall Retreat, taking place Thursday, September 17, through Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Tall Oaks Camp & Conference Center.

Join us for a weekend of worship, learning, fellowship, laughter, and spiritual renewal as we gather around our 2026 retreat theme:

Lesser-Known Women of the Bible: You Are Seen and Heard Too

Through inspiring, stand-alone keynote sessions, meaningful worship, and opportunities to connect with other women of faith. We’ll explore the stories of women whose lives remind us that God sees, values, and works through each of us. While some of these women may be lesser-known, their faith, courage, and stories continue to speak to us today.

We are blessed to welcome Keynote Speaker Dr. Debra Reid, Interim Executive Director of Disciples Women, who will lead us in inspiring sessions centered around our retreat theme. We will also welcome Guest Speaker Wanona Rogers Redd, President of the Disciples Women Executive Committee, who will share a special presentation with our retreat attendees.

Registration and check-in begin at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17. The retreat will conclude at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19.
