The Greater Kansas City Christian Church Disciples of Christ is calling a Regional Minister with a solid balance of spiritual foundation, visionary leadership, and executive management skills. To the Greater Kansas City Christian Church (Disciples of Christ),
Your Regional Search Committee has completed our listening sessions around the region. Thank you to everyone who joined in this process of feedback and conversation. We took that information gathered at 5 in-person listening sessions, 2 Zoom sessions, and specific sessions held with the Regional Youth Cabinet, the Regional Evening DWM, and some of our HIspanic congregations, and compiled that information into a Regional Profile and a Position Description. You can view both documents in the links above. The position of Regional Minister is now open and we will accept applicants through December 1, 2025.
We would ask for your help again now to spread this information far and wide. Please consider sharing the link to this page on your social media and email networks. We are hoping to attract a wide and varied pool of diverse candidates for this opportunity. We have posted this on our Regiona's website and social media and are sending to the Region's email lists as well as posting it through our general church's networks.
After the position closes on December 1, we will begin the process of evaluating candidates based on the information they have provided. From there we will winnow the list down to the top three candidates that best match up with our Region's profile and position description. After Zoom interviews are completed, we will invite the top candidate to come to Kansas City and interview in-person with the Search Committee and Regional Board.
