May 3rd - 4th
Our focus for the Spring Volunteer Weekend will be a combination of outdoor and indoor projects such as cleaning up landscaping around buildings, replacing worn mattress covers and shower curtains, helping prepare sack lunches for a large upcoming group, Cleaning the outsides of windows on cabins, gathering limbs, and more. Our volunteer team will provide all needed supplies, but you are welcome to bring your own tools/gloves/equipment that you prefer.
This weekend will include an optional overnight, free of charge, as well as deeply reduced rate meals ($5 each). You will be able to specify on the registration form which work sessions you will be available to volunteer, which meals you would like to join us for and if you plan on staying overnight (Saturday night). Payment for meals will be collected on the day of the event. Please note: any volunteers high school aged or younger must attend with an adult.
Similar to the last two volunteer weekends, the main work sessions are taking place on Saturday, May 3rd. The overnight is just a nice time for fellowship and celebrating our hard workÂ
