Silvercrest Ministries is a ministry of Hillcrest Christian Church. We meet in an Independent and Assisted Living facility, Silvercrest at Deer Creek in Overland Park, KS.

This position is for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months. Both parties have the option to agree to continue the internship, after the first 6 months, for the remainder of the 12 months. The position is for 30 hours a month, approximately 7 hours a week and pays $500 a month on the 30th of each month.

Duties include:

• Attending worship at least twice a month and at least two activities during the week.

• Updating our social media to help get the word out about our ministry.

• Fundraising ideas, such as flyers to email to organizations, churches, and individuals asking for donations.

• Opportunities to preach are available.

We offer a unique way of being church and doing ministry. Our goal is to get the word out, others to learn about this type of ministry, to help us be self-sustaining, and to bring this type of ministry to other retirement communities.

We are open to looking at those with good social media skills, those with fundraising skills, and those looking to enter the ministry. This is a unique opportunity open to various ages and skills.
