A Letter from our Regional Minister
Vision: Equipping disciples to make Disciples of Christ
Mission: Eyes on Jesus Christ, Led by Holy Spirit into the ‘New Thing’ God is birthing toward the flourishing of all Creation.
Values: Co-creating God’s Shalom through:
Working for the wholeness of all God’s people and creation
Embodying solidarity with those most vulnerable
Allowing the peace of Christ to rule in our hearts
Ripening Spirit’s fruit of love, joy and kindness
Devoting ourselves to covenantal fellowship, prayer and spiritual growth
Risking the call of faith to step into God’s unknown future.
Intentions for 2026
Engaging spiritual disciplines that allow Christ to be formed in us, inviting others to find an ecclesial home with us, prioritizing the welcome and well-being of children, building authentic community through trust, vulnerability and shared mission, greater connectedness of clergy and congregations, establishing an endowment fund for the ongoing ministries of the Region, celebrating
God-with-us, and calling a new Regional Minister.

Greater Legacy Society Launch - Sunday, February 22- 2:30 pm at Country Club Christian Church
Pentecost Picnic (Northland) - Sunday, May 31 - 5:00 pm
Virtual General Assembly - July 10th - 11th Regional gathering at Country Club Christian Church
Greater Kansas City Regional Assembly - October 10th, location to be determined
Racial Justice Summit - Saturday, November 7, at Independence Boulevard Christian Church
Scripture: Philippians 1:3-6
Every time you cross my mind, I break out in exclamations of thanks to God. Each exclamation is a trigger to prayer. I find myself praying for you with a glad heart. I am so pleased that you have continued on in this with us, believing and proclaiming God’s Message, from the day you heard it right up to the present. There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.
