February 7th - 9th Grades 6th - 8th
Be sure to register your camper for Chi Rho Midwinter by Friday, January 24th! This weekend retreat is similar to our summer camps and offers campers meaningful keynotes, small group time, a service project, worship planning and active leadership participation in services, interest groups, a surprise "big event", and a fun dance!
This camp is meant to be accessible to all youth in the Greater Kansas City area. We have funds to sponsor up to the entire registration fee. Please complete this scholarship application.
This year we will be focusing on Exodus 3, the story of Moses and the burning bush. On Friday we will be called away from our usual life, on Saturday we will be called by name to Holy ground, and on Sunday we will be called to action as we return to our normal lives.
From our director:
"Hi, my name is Colton Pasquale and I am the director of Chi Rho Midwinter! This will be my fourth camp as a director and my 21st year out at Tall Oaks! I live in De Soto, Kansas but am hoping to move out to Lawrence soon! I am currently the Director of Faith Formation at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence where I lead the high school youth group and run the Sunday School! On top of that, I also coach seventh-grade football at Lexington Trails Middle School in the fall!"
