GREATER KANSAS CITY DISCIPLES MEN ON MISSION
"IT IS TIME!"
If you ever saw the movie the Lion King, you may recall when the elder Rafiki tells Simba the would be king of the pride lands that the time had come to live out the truth of his authority and responsibility.
Today the changes going on in our world signal a transitioning of the Church from one familiar model to . . . ? We are not yet sure. All we know is that we share leadership entrusted to us by Christ and the generations coming after us are counting on the Church being there for them.
On September 19th at 9:00 am, we will meet for an hour virtually with the new Director of Disciples Men in the U.S. and Canada, Rev. Dr. Greg Alexander and Associate Director Rev. Dr. Alex Ruth. We will also be inviting men to form a steering committee to help lead Greater Kansas City Disciples Men for hands-on mission work, The Jesus Way pilot Bible study for Disciples Men, fellowship and mentoring.
