The Hymn Society is offering a collection of hymns for use during this coronovirus crisis, "Hymns In Times of Crisis." Here's their blurb:
"If your church community or a member of your community is experiencing a time of crisis due to death, natural disaster, family struggles, or any other time when singing these songs can help, The Hymn Society in the United States and Canada offers this resource of hymns with suggested tunes which can be useful at these times. The publishers, authors and composers have graciously granted permission for you to use any of the hymns in this collection at no royalty cost to you for 2 months following the crisis, and at any memorial or remembrance service held within 1 year of the event. These texts may also be used for personal devotions and group discussion. If your church is a member of OneLicense.net or CCLI, you are encouraged to report your usage there as you would customarily do."

Disciples will be able to share an online Easter service featuring Rev. Terri Hord Owens as speaker. Suzanne Castle and Andra Moran (Brim Project) are organizing a full-on worship service to be posted on YouTube Easter Sunday morning. Included in the service will be a sermon, children's moment and time of communion as well as music with lyrics. Individual components of the service such as the sermon, children's moment, communion meditation and an offering meditation will be available on Friday, April 10, for those congregations that would like to slot the additional material into their own service. Castle and Moran are also working on a Holy Week service. You can find more about that on their website.
From the National Council of Churches Christians are asked to join in specific acts of worship as they celebrate this unprecedented Holy Week and Easter. The letter, a poster, and a children’s coloring page can be downloaded at the links below. Please share these resources with your congregations and friends!
